A lot has happened since my husband lost his job in August. We have grown closer and I have grown to admire him more. I know he will find another job because, first I believe and you have to believe to achieve and second because he has put 150% in to looking, calling and rewriting his resume. 

Going through this with him, I have realized I should think about my future and so I have been thinking more about what I want for lets say the next five years. About 10 years ago my two sisters and I got together and made journals for our next five years. Most of what I wrote down actually came true and better than I could have dreamed of. So it is time for me to make a new Journal for my next five years and believe it will happen too!

I won't be sharing the journal, the last time I just stuck it away and forgot about it. Then one day I remembered it, dug it out, and couldn't have been more happier that it turned out so true.

I love to watch the Mentalist, he is so cute and surprising. Even the reruns are good! I saw an interview with the actor and he is just as cool as the Mentalist he is playing. He loves his family, which seemed to be the most important thing in his life. I don't know how long this show will run, but I will be a fan to the end!

I always dreamed of sharing my life through a blog, but thought I would screw it up. Maybe I will, yet I believe if I share me and what I like, then it will be good, because I know more about me than anyone and I believe God made us wonderful. So if I believe in God, then I should also should believe I am wonderful. With that statement, then writing about myself should be a good thing. The same is true for all that write about themselves and open to share their lives with others!

Traveling for our 40th Anniversary

Rodney and I are in St. Ignace, MI, enjoying beautiful weather and lots of activities. Fortunately for us on the weekend of our  Anniversary there is a lot of cool things going on here. We choose St. Ignace to celebrate this big event in our life together because we have had so many good memories together here.

Sabrina the Birthday Bear

When my baby, Sabrina turned 30 we went shopping and she wanted to get a Build a Bear. It was a very fun time with her.  To remember the special Day, I decided to get one and dress her like Sabrina and since it was Sabrina's birthday I added the Birthday song to the bear. 

After bringing it home I decided to call it Sabrina and then thought it would be nice to share her with others. So the idea came to me to make the tag you see and have it open for a place for signatures. The tag says: 

Hello, my name is Sabrina.

I am a Birthday Bear.
I am here to wish you Happy Birthday!

Just squeeze my left foot
and when my song is finished, look in my purse for your surprise!
