Graduation Card
Friday, July 12, 2013
At 1:00 I am going to Di's Ink Stamp-n-Crafts to make a book about the Tall Ships. I have always enjoyed seeing he beautiful Tall ships with their sails billowing in the wind. Of course we can't see that in Bay City because they are sitting docked on the Saginaw river. But just seeing their masks makes me happy.
I found the coolest app for my iPhone that tells all about everything going on this weekend for the Tall Ships and pictures with details for each of the ships. And even locates them for me. The far coolest app I have ever seen. It can be found on the Tall Ships Celebration link above.
The weather is beautiful, lots of people enjoying themselves and I am doing what I have always dreamed of, sitting in a coffee shop and typing on a laptop which I never dreamed would be a MacBook. God is so good!

Begining again!
I am starting a new adventure in my life, let's see how long I keep with it!

Going through this with him, I have realized I should think about my future and so I have been thinking more about what I want for lets say the next five years. About 10 years ago my two sisters and I got together and made journals for our next five years. Most of what I wrote down actually came true and better than I could have dreamed of. So it is time for me to make a new Journal for my next five years and believe it will happen too!
I won't be sharing the journal, the last time I just stuck it away and forgot about it. Then one day I remembered it, dug it out, and couldn't have been more happier that it turned out so true.
Happy Blogging to all!

I always dreamed of sharing my life through a blog, but thought I would screw it up. Maybe I will, yet I believe if I share me and what I like, then it will be good, because I know more about me than anyone and I believe God made us wonderful. So if I believe in God, then I should also should believe I am wonderful. With that statement, then writing about myself should be a good thing. The same is true for all that write about themselves and open to share their lives with others!
Thank you for reading my rambling. Until my next post, farewell!

It has been over a year since I have posted. No excuse...
But I have been reading so many other blogs and so enjoy all you share. All that take the time to share their crafts and their lives, are awesome!
I plan to find my place and start sharing more. I will continue to read and read other blogs to be inspired. And work on how I can inspire others too!
Today is my first step...

The idea for this card came to me before I saw the colors and then to my surprise the colors worked beautifully with my idea. I designed the balloon from a picture I saw and cut out a pattern, which I finished the raw edges with ribbon. The hardest part of this card for me was what to say. In the end I just had to put something and I liked the feeling of being Free!

Trying Something New
I recently bought a Netbook, I wanted something smaller to carry with me and hoped I would blog more with it. Well that didn’t happened. I love my new mini computer, but was so fascinated with it, I just spent my time playing with it.
Then I learned about a software for writing posts from the desktop called Windows Live Writer. So I downloaded it and here I am trying something new on my new Netbook.
I believe I will write more with this because it fills more familiar like Word, than writing on the blog website.
It finally feels like summer and I can take my new toy out in the sun room and write about what I have been reading and about my life. Writing has been my dream for quite a while.
I have been reading The Happiness Project and realized I had started my own goals years ago and have been working on them every since. So I am going to share them on this blog like she does. I am not trying to be like Gretchen, I just want to give God credit for helping me find happiness and am borrowing her idea to share what I have learned. You can follow the link on this blog to learn more about Gretchen’s Happiness Project. I am enjoying reading her book very much and admire her for what she has accomplished.

Gift for New Baby Boy
I wanted to make something, but couldn't think of anything. Then I watched a craft show on TV and saw what I wanted to make. This isn't just like they did, but close. I used Tim Holtz grunge paper and it feels so nice. I hope they like it!

Happy Admin Week
I usually like to give something to the other women I work with that are also Admins. So this year, I made tags that I got the idea for, from Craft Stamper magazine. Here is one of them.

Challenge Day!
To find out information about Challenge Day use this link: Challenge Day. I learned about it at work and signed up. I had to fill out a form about me, so they could verify I had no record or problems. They sent me details of what to expect and what was expected of me as an adult volunteer.
I enjoyed this day, learned a lot about these students in a short time and about myself. I was able to be more open than usual for myself and participated freely in front of others, because I was doing it for the kids. Which in the end helped me. I will do this again!

Oh What a Beautiful Day!
We have had a very long winter in Michigan. Even know everyone I saw today, said it won't last, I don't care, it is beautiful today! In Michigan, it is always said if you don't like the weather wait a day, it will change. Only this time we don't want it to change.
I went shopping today with my best friend Kathy to Scrapbook Peddler. We wanted to check it out since it has moved to a larger location. It is very nice! I bought stuff for next weekend. I will be scrap-booking with my daughters at Sabrina's home. She has a great finished basement, which we all enjoy spending time in. I will be working on a surprise for my hubby for our 40th Wedding Anniversary this year.
Have a very nice day!

My Dear Husband
Rodney is very good to me, we agreed that he cooks and I clean. But he also helps me do dishes and laundry and pays someone to clean our house every other week. I am very blessed. I get to spend all the time I want on crafts!
